LivingWALL PLUS is the next generation of our façade greening system, trusted in practice for over 10 years. The new generation combines the design freedom and flexibility of the original LivingWALL with a cost-effective and plannable installation as a ventilated rainscreen green façade.

SUBSTRUCTURE:
FLEXIBLE FOR NEW BUILDS AND REFURBISHMENT.

LivingWALL PLUS is an innovative façade greening system that can be installed with or without thermal insulation. The product is clearly separated from the building structure, reliably protecting the fabric of the building from environmental influences whilst effectively preventing moisture damage.

Depending on the project, the fleece-substrate system can be mounted on an Alucobond or aluminium substructure supplied by our cooperation partner PRO+. The high degree of prefabrication of the modules reduces installation effort and ensures cost-effectiveness. Serial refurbishment can also be implemented efficiently using this approach.

The fleece modules are installed quickly, easily, and securely via a retaining plate with blind rivets. With only a few fixing points per square metre, a seamless and high-quality appearance is achieved.

Edge Trims:
The Perfect Frame for Green Façades.

A perimeter trim is required to ensure controlled water drainage. The edge trims of LivingWALL PLUS are planned on a project-specific basis and coordinated with the substructure.

PLANTS AND SUBSTRATE –
THE FOUNDATION FOR LONG-LASTING GREEN FAÇADES.

LivingWALL PLUS offers the freedom to select a diverse range of plants, precisely matched to the location and exposure. This allows both visual highlights and functional benefits to be achieved in a targeted manner. The young plants are pre-cultivated in Vertiko substrate, a 100% mineral substrate. This eliminates the need for a substrate change during installation: reducing transplant stress, facilitating establishment, and lowering failure rates.

After approximately three months, particularly when planted in spring, a closed plant cover develops, giving the façade a lush, green appearance. This approach ensures harmonious integration into the architecture and supports a consistently high-quality façade greening system.

LivingWALL PLUS is supplied with pre-cultivated plants. For each project, we develop a bespoke planting plan that takes into account the on-site conditions and enables optimal growing conditions.

Our planting plan incorporates, amongst other factors:
